The Areus Test Cube (ATC) elevates software development and software testing of control units to a whole new level. The days of a jumble of cables and chaos at the desk are over, because ATC now offers an all-in-one solution in a compact housing.
During development, we placed great value on maximum flexibility. This is reflected in the special cubic design that enables all connections on the mainboard to be positioned so that they are readily accessible. All ECU signals can be easily tapped via screw terminals. ECUs can be connected all over the mainboard. Basic connection possibilities such as CAN, Ethernet, Power, etc., are located on the outside of the cube.
The mainboard designed specially for the Areus Test Cube is the core of the ATC. Numerous connectors and interfaces are designed to connect hardware with little effort. Connecting ECUs and also flash and measuring hardware was never as clear and simple.

The extension offers another way to connect serial interfaces of ECUs to the PC using only an USB cable—without special cables on the common D-Sub interfaces. Thus, it not only simplifies data transmission, but also offers significant cost savings.

The automation board allows maximum flexibility for the tester. An Ethernet wake-up can now be conveniently controlled via the software. If operation is still manual or preferable, this can be carried out via the switches on the ATC front panel. Regardless of the switch position on the front panel, remote testing can always be performed.

The power supply up to 60 V can be provided individually for each ECU and Extension Unit. This means that overvoltage and undervoltage tests of an ECU are simply not an issue.

If the standard scope isn’t enough, the ATC can be extended by adding the familiar modules from the modular test bench portfolio. The Extension Unit has the same fixed metric grid as the Base Unit, allowing it to be stacked and combined to take up less room.
