Areus has developed a CO2 sensor together with its partner M-WAY Solutions GmbH. Every person permanently emits CO2 and aerosols (liquid particles that can transmit infections) when breathing. The aerosols and any viruses they contain cannot be measured directly. But by measuring the CO2 concentration in an enclosed space, the aerosol concentration can be inferred. The risk of infection can be derived from this and reduced. 

The CO2 sensor forwards the relevant value to your cell phone via the app. If the CO2 content is within the normal range, the display lights up green. 

If ventilation is necessary due to the high CO2 content of the air, this is indicated by a red display. The transmission of the value to your cell phone is extremely fast, allowing you to ventilate or leave the room in good time.
